Golden Ray snapped his head noticing the towering presence standing right behind him.
A light brown filly with a long silvery mane was sternly staring at him.

Feeling a bit intimidated,Ray decided that the best plan to scare the kid off was with being his usual snarky self.
He standed straight up with a sly smirk

''Can I help you,hillbilly?''

The filly took a few steps closer to the bully,causing him to step back and allowing Summer to take cover side by side with her savior.

Truth to be told,Golden Ray strong suit wasn't physical confrontation and he specifically targeted kids that he could easily overpower,so starting a fist fight with someone who was clearly physically superior than him wasn't a wise idea.He needed to ponder his choice of words better.Going home with a black eye isn't pleasurable at all.

''So?Cat got your tounge,eh?''

No answer yet,she just intensified the eye contact with Golden,confusing and kind of creeping him out even more.

''Uhm...Right.So if you could leave,I'll return to my conversation with duchs-''

Without a warning,the silver maned kid lunged straightforward,invading Golden's private space by pressing their snouts togheter.

Her unbothered expression turned into a stone cold glare that sent a shiver down the little boy spine.

That's it,this is were he dies.He should've left the rainbow pest alone this time,but she was all alone and he was in the mood for some good 'ol bantering with dear chicken little.

But not a single blow was fired that day,instead silver mane kid uttered the second and last word since she walked on the scene,but that was all tha she needed to say.

''Leave.''

And you know what,Golden was happily ready to pack his bags and take this opportunity to escape a possibly dangerous situation.

He awkwardly smiled and bolted down the school's corridors,not bothering looking back.

Both fillies looked at the hilarious scene with amused smirks on their faces.

The taller kid turned her attention to Summer,that immediately ducked her head into her shirt.

''Summer Tempest,mhm?''

Summer peeked out of her shirt and looked at her confused

''Your name,is Summer Tempest right?''

Summer timidly nodded.

''Mines Cloud Snatch,nice to meet you''

Summer just stared at her dumbfounded.Who's this and why did she come to her rescue.

They were interrupted by a teacher's voice calling for Summer.

Cloud smiled and turned to Summer.

''See you later,alligator''

And with that she was gone.

Summer just stood there for a good 5 minutes,wondering just what the hell has just happened.

Yeah,took me a shit ton of time to finally finish this second part,but better late than never, am I right.

Anyway this is how Cloud and Summer first met and how they first began to hang out;after this episode,Cloud began to follow her around,not allowing any bully to go near her,becoming kind of a body guard.Summer was confused but decided to roll with it.
They began to spend more and more time togheter out of school,they actually share similar interest and became best buddies.
Cloudy moved away from Ponyville when Summer was ten,but they re-found each other during Summer's freshman year of high school.
