Thank Arceus Bucket managed to tank that Earthquake. They normally have pretty crummy defenses, so you got lucky there. And I mean REALLY lucky. Unless you're doing a blind run, you should ALWAYS know the Gym ahead of you inside and out. Plus Altaria is part Dragon, which negates the Electric weakness.
Ooooooo tension! One of those two is gonna die. 'Tis the rule of Nuzlocke.
Who is the random Swedish guy? And I have learned exactly one Swedish word. Jag. Now I have about 9,000 to go before I am fluent in the language when I read, never mind pronunciation in order to carry a conversation.

Yup, pretty much. Evolving into later plot shenanigans about how one of them didn't say they were sorry in time, and then either dying later or making up for it by saving someone else or something.
Isn't it pronounced 'Sloot'? But, of course, if I'm only trying to achieve literary bilingualism (oh Arceus the fancy words) that doesn't become a factor.
And you can learn one (and a half) more English words... You teach someone else information or facts. You learn something if you receive the information.
