Although it has rained everyday for the last 20 days we did have a 24 hour spell of beautiful weather, which I spent camping at Tavy Cleave. I actually went on the trip to retake a composition I had found in bad weather, but when I found the heather further up the cleave that evening I resulved to get up and hike there in the morning where hopefully the rising sun would light the scene.

Shooting the heather with a rising sun will no doubt reduce Steve to tears, but he will have to get over it.

By the way, I like this - not as much as the one you posted before, but I think that's just because of the colouring. But this is still gorgeous, and the sun is lovely.

btw its a different colour temperature at this end of the day and in this shot is not so orange so no tears here...

hmmmmm initially id say brilliant.... but then i'd think about it a bit more and particulaly the way you are so critical of me and say i have shots like this but i think the sun as a big blob of orange like that is just to dominant, ......crazy mist though...

If you think the sun is dominant in this you should see a moon shot I will post at some point....
I dont think the sun is too dominant, in fact that idea hadnt occured to me, but I take your criticism.
