Been working on this for a long time, but it is finally done! My program crashed on me once and I lost all of the background work I'd done:'D But that was okay, I was able to go back and do it better the second time round. This was from a screen in my story "The Mists". I was going to draw it how it was in the story, but decided against it... idk why

Bleeding Time:
Razen and Alistar made their way across the emerald green grounds dotted with drainage landscaping, down to the gate. The guards gave the pair a strange look, but once Alistar stated their purpose for entering the Mists, the guards accepted it without question. As soon as they passed through the gates, the Mists pressed in, smothering them in thick miasma.

It would appear being an advanced student has its advantages, Razen mused, looking over at the blond man. There was a part of him that was having trouble accepting recent events; he was still fuzzy on the details, but it appeared that they were now dating, what was more, the slayer was now helping him bleed his magic. It was all too surreal.

"Where do you do this?" asked Alistar looking about the foggy landscape.

"Farther away from the wall-" Razen grunted, the magic build up was getting hard to manage. He rubbed his chest, trying to ease the pain, and made his unsteady way farther into the Mists. "Here." he said coming to a suitable spot, a small clearing with a large boulder at its center. "You should take cover, in case something goes wrong."

"Is that Likely?"

The black haired youth shrugged, "I'd rather not test it if you know what I mean."

"Can I watch though?"

"Only if you can see from-" he scanned the area, eyes clapping on the boulder "from right there! Hide behind that and don't do anything stupid."

Alistar did as he was told, and watched Razen from a safe vantage point, scarcely believing what was happening. He had been accepted by Razen. Up to a few hours ago, he'd wondered if Razen would ever speak to him again. And now he was watching, watching as he knelt on the earth, as he planted his hands on the ground and watching as the sparks started to fly. A small plant shot up between Razen's clawed fingers, growing taller, fuller, sprouting more and more shoots until leaves started to unfurl. The buds burst open with all the vigor of Tracy's fireworks. With a faint cry, Razen broke the connection, falling back on the earth exhausted.

"You okay?" Alistar asked peeking out from behind the boulder.

"Yeah, it seemed to go better than it has in the past." he stood brushing himself off. "You can come out now." he stooped and cut one of the flowers, trimming away the thorns with a talloned thumb. "For you." he blushed, holding the rose out to Alistar.

The Slayer took it stunned, "That was incredible!" and he meant it. The rose was a fine specimen, with a delicate aroma. The yellow petals gave way to red tips. He normally didn't notice such things, but now that he was open to it- he couldn't stop thinking about it- it was beautiful- So this is magic he thought, incredible.

Razen shrugged, embarrassed "it was just something that I've been practicing. Lilly mentioned the plants seemed to like me..."

The youth rose to is feet, seeming to wilt a little. "You sure you're alright?" Alistar asked, bracing him.

He nodded, "I'm just a bit tired- bleeding can really take it out of you-"
