I like how at the end, they just seem to wander off without receiving a threat assessment. "People throwing molotov cocktails at me?They should chill, I'm going to bed."Razen is kind of done right now, magic is hard.
In case you're wondering, Razen and Lilly have a rocky relationship with Lance. And yes, Razen is a little jealous of Lance right now XD Being tired really screws with his emotional state, normally he'd just filter unnecessary feels out.
Also, both Razen and Lilly can do some crude healing. It's exhausting, but it hella beats a burn. I hope you never suffer severe burns dear reader. Both can do shield magic. Though Razen isn't as good or as strong with his magic as Lilly.
The color of the uniform trim signifies a diffrent Academy Hub.
Gold = North Branch
Silver = South Branch
Red = East Branch
Copper = West Branch.

Still trying to figure out how to web comic. This installment was longer than the last, so it took a while to get it out. Stuff is about to get real intense next installment.

Traveling cloaks are standard issue in the Academy (they provide some camouflage in the mists and can double as a blanket if needed). They are also favored by security personnel

Bruh, you could Never be tedious. You are always so blooming helpful and wonderful and it's a pleasure to hear from you in isolation land! Besides, I have asked you outright for help, and you've been so kind with that!
I have had a few random people in the past that just stop by to say "you spelt ____wrong" and nothing else. NOTHING ELSE. I don't know them, they never show up again, they didn't tell me how they reacted to the piece (which I love hearing about), or even if it was easy to follow (arguably the most important part of any story) or if the dialogue was any good to begin with (what good is spelling if the dialogue is junk? XD). The mass majority of the effort goes into sketches, line art, coloring, shading, lighting, special effects and overall placement of stuff. So I want to know if I misspell something (that gets in the way of proper communication) AND something else about the visual aspect of the comic.

XD glad that came through! Neither of them are good at that panicking stuff XD Normally she would go into search and destroy mode, but she promised to be the friendly neighborhood demon while at the Slayer Convention (besides, Lance and the Enforcers are detaining the suspect. The Enforcers are the people in cloaks and full uniform). They don't want to remind the humans that they could easily overpower them. Even if they aren't full blown demons.
The branches of the Academy are pretty spread out. The Mists takes place in a future North America. The North Branch is the north part of the Midwest to parts of Canada, South is like Mexico, Texas and a few other places like that, East coast DC area, and then there is the West (something like Colorado, might even have parts of silicon valley). The mists spreads out like an ameba rather than a nice circle; it has a...er...mind of its own. It's on every continent (save Antarctica, really no reason to go there). The epicenter was the US though. Because you can't escape the mists once inside it, a lot of countries that we know now had been dissolved.
The Slayer's Academy is one way that humans pulled together once they landed in the Mists. Because they were cut off from world trade (but still had access to local tech resources) they formed microcultures. There are other human cultures within the Mists, but the Slayer's Academy was the most aggressive in indoctrination and outreach. They provide for basic needs, (food, shelter, healthcare, schooling, make sure people have a purpose and united them against a common enemy; demons and the Mists). Each of the branches have their own network of Academy settlements to manage as well as a series of safe houses. Safe-houses are interesting because they have to make nice with the communities (of demons and fay) that live around them because they don't have the same protections as the Academy Settlements Proper. Because they provide safe haven for traveling humans, any fraternization they may engage in is overlooked.
Twice a year there are Slayer's Academy Conventions where all four branches send representatives to meet and swap information, resources and tech. The North Branch (where the main characters are stationed) is trying to bring back a referendum on demon treaties which would allow them to form peace agreements with vetted demon communities.
There are all of these webcomic series online, but I can't seem to find information on how other people make them! Everytime I search for something like "webcomic" or "comic strip" or "online comics" "manhua" or "manwha" it always goes back to the traditional Sunday Morning cartoon strip or the standard comic/manga page. Useful information, but not what I'm looking for XD
I just want to know how other people put them together to see if there is another way of approaching this. I don't want to reinvent the wheel if I don't have too XD I just figured out how to use folders and clipping masks in Clip Studio Paint and it makes shading so much easier!!!! (google it, it's interesting)
I'm hoping to create a resource page so that other people could use it too.
