Got a bit of Snoging action in for day 12. But Razen and Alistar seem to enjoy it so whatever.It's all good so long as Razen keeps controll of his magic. Otherwise their day would probably be ruined~

This was originally supposed to be Alistar's room, but it honestly looks more like Razen's. And Razen is a very private individual who hasn't told his room mate that he's dating his own team captain...

Razen is really the one keeping it under wraps. Alistair is a bit of a player. So people are used to him having someone. But it would make things harder on Razen, put him under a lenze. And that is the last thing he needs.

Well, Alistar was sent out on his first single scouting mission out in the mists. A right of passage for the idiotically brave.
He was about a week into it when he found this small girl and wounded boy spying on his fire one night. He gave them some food (they'd run out) and treated Razen. by morning, the two were gone. Lilly resurfaced a few days latter, Razen had taken a turn for the worse and they really needed help. Alistar got them to the safe house (somehow) and spent the better part of a week making sure Razen didn't die.
Razen's normally a pretty private dude, not prone to trusting randome stranger and is used to taking care of himself. But the injury and infection kind of drove all that out of the window, and Alistar got kind of attached to this little tough, cuttie.

He's a magnet for trouble, not to mention he's stuborn and distant. Just doesn't lean on people when he probably should and is much to curious for his own good. He's very cerebrial, but he's also impulsive. An odd mix. But when he's half out of his mind with feaver, he's much more open and trusting XD

Who doesn't like a submissive person XD However, with Virmont he's usually the submissive one with Darren, but Darren hates it when V's not at his best. (now they do switch roles every now and then) but still, a sick V is not a fun V. Darren would describe him as being "Too Needy" and if your sick it's like you 'have' to help them, but when he's not, V's "Too Needy" side doesn't have to be attended to, so Darren likes to drive him crazy when he doesn't give him what he wants

XD yeah. When they first met, Alistar was about 90% sure that Razen would die, so he was pretty surprised he made a recovery at all. But as time wore on, and Razen continued to have new mishaps, Alistar gets more worried.
Of the two, Alistar is actually the "high maintenance" one

Oddly enough, commitment. He's an ESTP (Extroverted, Sensor Thinking Perciever) He's already pegged as a leader in the Mists, has had to devolop planing and strategy skills, so he enjoyed keeping his personal life fast and lose.
Razen, on the other hand, fears loosing control, specifically loosing control of himself. (He's an INTP, Introverted, Intuitive, Thinking, Perciever) He's already accepted that he can't control the external world, so he focuses on maintaining the inner world. But what happens when he can no longer control even that?
(I'm an INTP too, and we are kind of strange personality type, so I like them as main characters and see what happens to them when I put them through hell XD)

Wow that is very fascinating O.O no joke! I am an INTJ (Intervened Intuitive Thinking Judging) and people like that (me) are difficult to deal with...but i NEVER though to take that test and apply it to my own people lol i might have to do that XD thanks for the idea!!
Wow so the two of them together with those types are really interesting!! Gosh i love learning about other peoples OCs (when i use to never before) i'm glad i got out of that bubble!! Haha! That's perfect! My best friend of 13 years is also an INTJ (I know the type well) and my Dad is and ENTJ. (I'm a tad bit on the obsessed when it comes to the Myers Briggs, which is why I got certified so I didn't look like so much of a freak that I am xD)
XD yeah, they are an interesting pair. Also, I keep showing these touchy-feely sentimental moments between the two of them, but most the time, it just isn't like that XD Alistar takes on a lot of J roles at the academy, and he's good at preforming the necessary tasks expected of a leader, but he likes to plain old goof off in his spare time. Go where his gut tells him to.
Razen prefers to remain in the moment too, but is not nearly as impulsive as Alistar likes to be! XD
Same, I love learning about other's OC's too. People use all sorts of methods to form their worlds, their characters. And it's so cool to be able to explore them.

Women intjs I heard are very rare and interesting and so to be friends with one they say you must be an extraordinary person to be a friend with an intj woman LOL
I'm not really big on the touchy feeling thing either but I guess that depends on the kind of person who is giving the touchy feeling like for instance if it was a guy who I truly bonded to (which is honestly extremely rare because I could do better on my own) then I probably wouldn't mind cuddling with that person. Virmont on the other hand he is definitely a cuddler he likes to snuggle up to people which I think is cute but for me to do that I would have to drink lots and lots and lots of coffee and maybe a sleeping pill LOL
It's so fascinating to learn about other people's OCs it makes me think how my characters would react around them and if in a role-play would they become friends or enemies
Well I only did Virmont for right now and he turned out to be an ENFP but he was kind of hard because he's technically an Ambvert XD but if I would compare him to an anime character I would compare him to Yuri Lowell on Tales of Vesperia
I haven't done Darren yet because he's probably going to be the hardest since I haven't quite figured out how to explain his personality but if I compared him to someone it would be Dr. House mix with someone who's a bit childish yet very romantic with hidden anger.

But yeah! Female INTJ's are indeed rare. INTJ's in general are not all that common, they make up roughly 2.1% of the population. INTP's (which is what I am) make up about 3.3% of the population. Things get even more interesting when you break it down further.
T's make up around 40.2% of the population, already a minority. 56.5% of the male population are T's, in contrast with Female T's that make up 24.5% of the female population. So Female T's are already uncommon!
N's make up 26.7% of the population. For Men, they are 28.3% and Women it's 25.1%
NT's make up roughly 10.3% of the total population, Men have about 14.8% NT's in their gender and Women have 5.9% of our gender is NT.
3.3% of male population is an INTJ, while .8% of the female populace is an INTJ, so yeah, female INTJ's

XD yeah, I think that is the key, finding the right person. I'm more of a "doing things with someone" rather than a "cuddling" sort of person. The only time I really get cuddly is when I'm exhausted, so, a good 35 mile canoe trip or a 50 mile bike ride would do the trick XD Razen kind of has the same cat like mannerisms when it comes to those things. Alistar really likes the fact that Razen isn't clingy (he's had those people before, and they drove him crazy) but he's also kind of frustrated by it because he's the one doing most of the perusing XD
Yeah, I always love learning about why people make their stories the way they do, the logic behind plot lines. Sometimes they point things out that really helped me patch holes in my own stories! But talking with others is a great way of getting perspectives! Like talking with you about Virmont and Darren, getting to know them and about the world they came from and the worlds they interact with, It's refreshing.

Well, if ya want to be sure, you could look at the function stacks of Myers Briggs. The function stacks are a more specific way of looking at type than the four letter code. They are just kind of weird to look at at first.
ENFP function stack is: Ne, Fi, Te, Si (extroverted intuition), (introverted feeling), (extroverted thinking) (introverted sensing)
INFP function stack is: Fi, Ne, Si, Te
So just by changing the one letter, it really switches up the stack!

I like to hear that since my world is very close to my heart ^_^ Virmont was someone who i created to "originally" talk to since I heard him talking back to me in my head...as i heard his voice (hearing voices) you could say but when i first starting hearing him he didn't have a name until i did a project in 7th grade on the state of Vermont and got my VERY FIRST A+ on it and since my grandma's name was Virginia, i thought, "why not?" and named him Vermont only i spelled it like V.i.r.m.o.n.t and so when i share my world with people it's like i'm giving a piece of me for others to enjoy and when i hear people loving it it's like i'm being loved as well. And now i just LOVE to hear about other peoples worlds (more so yours) since it just grew on me as if it was like my fave color and from first sight i just feel in love with your boys (Razen and Alistar) BIG FAN BIG BIG FAN!!

XD yeah, it's kind of a funny predicament. Razen is just not wired in the way that way. Alistar has learned to tell Razen bluntly what he needs. They are protective of each other, kind of unusually so. But Razen doesn't want Alistar thrown under the bus (so to speak) if things so south for him, and Alistair doesn't want to see any more harm come to Razen.

Haha! that was similar to how Gyra and I became acquainted. I'm an only child in a single parent household, so Gyra kept me company (I never wanted for actual company, but I did actively seek out alone time to spend more time with her XD). Sometimes, it feels like my characters are standing/walking right next to me.

Makes sense though, when two people care about each other protectiveness does play a huge role!
It's weird because for those who know about their relationship, would say that Darren can get overly
controlling that would make it appear like V is suffering from Stockholm Syndrome, but on the flip side
Virmont has been known to manipulate Darren into thinking he's going to lose him by allowing stupid
things to happen that down right emotionally abuses Darren and the worse part is nether one of them
are aware that they're even doing that to each other. It's like they're taking revenge out on each other
and not even knowing it... My Love ~Kills is a story that really explains what i mean.
That is exactly how it feels to me too
him talking to me at times and it's so comforting. I like to go swinging alone on the swings at the park to
connect to my world. My therapist calls in "Dissociating" but i really don't care because when i'm not on the
ground and i'm flying through the air, if feels like i'm flying to get to him and to travail into my world. Party
starts when i arrive XD but in real life i feel like parties over when i arrive...
YUP!! Virmont is defiantly one of a kind XD He's the Mascot of my world's Industry! Like Mickey Mouse is to Disney.

Secondly, POSE! EXPRESSIONS! I apologize for the yelling, but your art is something to yell about it's so pretty ;w;
Your shading is on-point, and so is your color choice. The green in the back doesn't quite balance, but it still passes well. Not only that, but the texture and color give me a warm-and-cozy sort of vibe. Amazing work, and I wonder if you mind if this is set as my wallpaper for a while so I can gush over it? XD

Hands are so hard, but they look. SO. neat here *W* While they are one of the easiest things
to draw wrongly, if one comes only remotely close to to drawing them right one can add SO
much emotion to a picture, and that's exactly what you did.
So, it's usually really hard to give critique to someone on a higher skill level, but let me try anyway to find something to nitpick on :3
Great things:
You got a background with perspective that looks nice, but doesn't distract from the characters.
Maybe the green does distract a bit. Giving it another colour would make the overall feel of the picture more whole.
Dynamic pose:
Srsly, they are standing around making out - how did you make that dynamic? Not razen is the magician here, but you!
Proportions: Yup. Neato!
Colour choice: Nice, not too saturated, all fitting and good. Except for the green again XD
(Have some design student feedback-rambling here:
If he had his eyes open which are green, then it would count as another element of that
colour and be fine, or if the poster wasn't green, but he had his eyes open, it would also
be fine - since the difference in colour would drag our views into the eyes, which is where
we want our gaze to wander. But darn it, the longer I see that green, the longer I think
it should be either red, so you have a triangle in your pic with bed, shirt and poster;
or maybe a mirror, cuz mirrors are cool.)
I love how their clothes have folds according to what they hold, they look really subtle and fitting.
Maybe something I could point out would be the shading.
(don't worry, that's already awesome, but no feedback helps with only positive feedback)
I don't know why, but I think you could still refine your shading.
Especially around these awesome folds in the cloth, I know that that would probably
be really time consuming; but putting in more detail there with your shadows
might actually be worth it.
The cool thing is, by looking through your gallery one can actually see how you have improved.
A lot. And by the looks of it - still will. So keep it up!!!

I found your work through and would like to give you some feedback on your work 
First of all I would like to say that you have a great sense of perspective and anatomy.
The posture is really well done and I can`t really find any flaw about it 
I also like the overall composition and vibe from this picture. It looks like a snapshot from everyday life. I mean it doesn`t look stiff or staged at all. Which I believe is hard to achieve in itself. So well done
If I should point out something to improve on (which is quite hard actually) it would maybe be to put more focus into the details. The foldings in the clothes and bed sheets are well done, but somehow lack shadows. I also think that the background could have used a bit more attention, on the other side it would maybe have taken away the focus from the couple. So I see why you maybe kept it simple.
Well, overall a really nice work. Keep it up

I'm glad it looks like a snapshot, because that is what it was supposed to be! Minus the magic though~ Razen has this ability but thanks to the demon wards, using magic within the grounds of the academy can be quite lethal. So when he's inside, he does his best to be a normal boy, with normal relationships. So I'm glad it worked out ^^
Aie, it does need more in the way of shadows. I've been relying on adding a multiply layer to add shadows (as it takes fare less time and I'm doing a lot of these pictures for the 30 day challenge) but it really did not work here.

Hi! I'm from the ProjectComment group,
It's a lovely piece, and the anatomy of the characters is accurate for the most part. My first suggestion would be to not use such soft blends for the shadows/highlights, at least not in a grey or black. This can give a desaturated colour to the entire piece, making it darker without wanting to (though maybe you did want the piece to look darker, however I wouldn't see the point since the window seems to give a lot of light). The second would be to not combine a rich dark purple with a forest-meadow green, as they are opposite on the colour wheel. Normally this would not be much of a problem, however since the painting/ tapestry is in the background, it makes the purple-shirted character and that painting stick out, rather than the two characters being the main center of the artwork.

XD yeah, sometimes I can get the sgadding, other times it's a bit elusive~ I use a two multiply layers for shading to cut down on time~ but it's still a new technique. And yes, the background was a bit to bright, I played with the lighting a bit, so it should work a little more.
