i'd be more than happy to get rid of your backgrounds for you. i'm horrible obsessive about cleaning photos of every last pixel that offends me when i clean them, so... *big smiles* my neurotic obsessions can be your gain! i've got a erm.. somewhat legal copy of Paintshop, photoshop, and opencanvas, so.. *shrug*

Very good technique, although its mostly smudged and not painted you still handled the smudge tool very skillfully.
