The Uniform is that of the standard quasi-formal off-duty jumpsuit for MechWarriors of the new SLDF. The colors are chosen to represent the passage of the old SLDF and their mysterious disappearance in to the periphery. and the black to show the sadness of their return as the Clans and the open road before the Inner Sphere to a new future with nothing baring its way. The Gold represents all the positive traits needed by a person to be a member of the SLDF, and its untarnishable principles.
