I must have painted this three times before I made this one, which I ended up being kind of okay with. I still need to get better with painting in details amongst other things.Related content

Part of the painting thing might be about varying the edges. Almost all the edges here look soft, whereas maybe the occlusion shadow from the head on the body could have a harder edge. Also maybe more color in the shadow and highlights? Like purpler shadows, and more reddish/orange to the lights.
I know this stuff in theory, but also have a really hard time making it work in practice...
