Description
More stuff for that pitch package I mentioned. I must confess, this wasn't completely done by hand. I've been working on 3d models of these characters and I used a render of it to plan out this painting. The reason I painted over it was to figure out the colors and textures I wanted.Related content

Man your characters are amazing. I sometimes wish you had put like a character sheet type thing for your characters XD. None the less I love your art.

Thanks, that really mean a lot to me. Yeah, I thought about doing more model hseets for my film characters, but they ended up evolving so much more once I started sculpting them that it just seemed a bit pointless, especially when I had such a huge workload. Maybe someday if I ever reuse them in the future.

Awesome stuff. You've got a good line of action going here.

Looks neat, although the face has a little bit of an Uncanny Valley touch to it - something about the shape of the chin makes the character look like a polar bear's face was stretched across a human head like a mask, with the person's mouth and eyes showing through the holes. (If that was the idea you were trying to convey, then the more power to you.)
Otherwise, though, it looks pretty awesome!

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. This is being designed with the intention of doing animation tests, so I want to see how it looks in motion before I make any drastic changes. But I'll keep those points in mind.

Hey, there's no shame using your own 3d models for paintovers. I'm sure it's done all the time for the reason you stated! It does look very nice and hope to see this pitch package. So far it's all been very interesting and just in time for the winter season.

Thanks, I'm hoping to develop more work for this soon.
