Well, Sonic is Sega, but they probably bought him out. I say that, since I see the Super Smash Brothers, as well as the Mario and Sonic Olympic games crossovers. That's why I say it.

Actually, Sega agreed to have Nintendo use Sonic in Smash Bros. since he's a popular request, and they developed the Olympic Game series with Nintendo as well.
