Description ... between a male and female nymph. I made this because they all, males and females alike, appear to have 8 segments up until they reach an older age. So when nymphs, counting the segments isn't going to do much for you. I've learned to go by their shape and how aggressive they are toward food.

The male has a longer thorax and a flat, stick-like abdomen. They tend to be smaller.

The female has a shorter thorax and a thick, full abdomen which is noticeably larger compared to a male nymph.

The female is very aggressive toward food and will fight with the prey, while the male will be more cautious and jumpy.
