NPC Role: Altair's boss/trainer. Also offers psychological counseling services.

Personality: Would be better described as a lack of personality. Very dour and emotionless. Pyero is not easily provoked, and it takes a lot to make him show even a slight bit of anger. He seems to have some sort of a Napoleon complex, and will make off color comments to you if you mention his height or his heels. This lends to him being a good listener.

Biography: Like Altair, Pyero started off life as an angel born with the core of purity. Even after witnessing the death of his best friend, his soul retained absolute purity. Agents from the council took note of this, as it is one of the requirements for becoming a death god. His youth was a time of change for humans, wars and revolts causing the influx of souls to be too much to handle for the existing reapers.

He entered into the grueling and mentally stressful death god training in the underworld. They say it is to let one be able to handle the stresses of leading souls about, but it is actually to prepare the mind and body to be infused with the core of death. This way of becoming a demi-god is a painful, long process and not every candidate survives, which makes the choice of who goes through with it extremely crucial.

Pyero survived, and managed to move through the ranks until he became a trainer himself. Recently, Altair landed in his care after a long string of failed candidates. Things were going very well, and Altair seemed like he would be the one to make it before he suddenly ran away.

Perplexed as to why the young man would abandon such an honorable and dignified opportunity, Pyero followed his soul light to Cipher Nimbus HQ. He wants to understand why Altair left as well as try to convince him to return. and will be offering psychological assistance to recruits in the mean time. However this doesn't seem to be his only motivation...

Pyero is a powerful psychic in the field of biomancy. He can control body systems and even contort bones and flesh on will. This allows him to do cool things with his own body as well as destroy others if needed.

- Has a huge soft spot for altair but still somehow treats him (and most everyone else) cruelly and strictly
- His skeletal wings are usually hidden
- Has a great respect for the dead and is extremely against necromancy
- Wears heels always to compensate for his height deficit. Stands around 5'9'' with them on.
