Working a lot faster through this page. Haven't finished 1.1.1 yet, but I needed a change of scenery even after a week long hiatus to deal with a persistent cold. Loosening up my style and trying to make it look more natural and cross hatched like my pencil drawings (which I like better than my final versions anyway). Also reduced dpi to 300 for this and future pages, a lot easier on my computer.Related content

i really like the shading on the teacher's hand. the cross hatching came out well on that. also, the blue gradient background in the second panel was a cool choice because it breaks up the color scheme a bit

:3 I choose a greenish blue since the lights would be fluorescent, which give a green tinge, even though the walls should be white. But it becomes a darker blue shade to make it more sombre and dim; and also to break up the color scheme as you said. There are a lot of warm tones for the linoleum and skin.
The hand to me seems to stand out a bit too much compared to the first two panels, since they are very smooth in comparison, but the fifth panel (the three panel spread in the middle) is going to be crazy heavy on hatching.
