It seems to me that you have changed your approach to portrait work, and maybe to the surfaces as well. Spot on classic depth of field here, and I like Cathy. SheΒ looks sad, but that also gives her extra charm.

Iβve used a very narrow plane of focus this time along with a lower focal length and Iβm quite happy with the result.
Her expression was not really planed to be with a hint of melancholy, but after several attempts to give her a mildly sneering appearance, I found this attractive too.
