History: Kimba was born on August 18th to two amazing parents- her mother being a pediatric surgeon and her father an illustrator for graphic novels. She's an only child and thus, lived a kind of spoiled life. Her family traveled a lot and as such, she learned many ways of doing things along with different cultural foods and customs. Her parents also let her pick off of their plates when she was growing up because it was a smart way to get her to try new foods and also save money. Her parents were very caring and passed that trait onto their daughter, telling her that if she smiled on life, then life would be sure to smile back. As such, Kimba is very in-tune with her emotions and sometimes has a hard time controlling them when they reach extreme levels. Growing up, her mother would be home when she could, but being one of the very few pediatric surgeons in the region they lived in, she was often gone for odd hours for surgeries or consultations. While she was gone, Kimba and her father would bond over whatever novel he was illustrating at the time. On a few occasions, her father would let her design characters to make cameos in the novels, usually background characters.

As she became a preteen and was trusted to make her own food when needed, she soon discovered her interest in baking. From the time she was twelve, her father enrolled her in a community baking class at the local community center and there she learned how to create pastries from all over the world. Her absolute favorite pastry, though, was the chocolate lava cake. She was always amazed when she would cut into the cake and see the chocolate lava gush out. After she graduated high school, she was admitted into the culinary arts school and soon was looking for a part time job to do in order to have some extra spending money while she was away at school instead of relying on her parents. As she was walking through the city, she came across a shoppe that had a "Now Hiring" sign in the front window. She walked in and applied, saying she was a student at the culinary arts school in town and was anxious to learn more about being a pastry chef. She was soon hired and accepted to work alongside the pastry chef they already had.
