Description
The storm had begun in an instant.The temperature was rising rapidly.
A spear of light pierced the heavens and sliced everything in its path, were it metal or stone.
Air itself screamed, as its molecules twisted around the spear with a thundering boom that shook the earth and shattered glass.
T'was a most magical beginning.

Some beautiful prose that went along with the picture. As well written as the image itself is painted. I love the sort of vertigo-inducing building shots you do, that combined with the incredible skyscape makes the artwork seem even more epic. I can't help but be reminded of the destruction of the Citadel in Half-Life 2: Episode 1, but this is on a much grander and more spectacular scale. I'm quite blown away.
