It looks like a matte painting, but from what I know of Alexiuss' work, it definitely an original photograph. Alexiuss is a fantastic photographer.

i most definitely think so. it's too vivid to be a painting. not that i have any doubts in his painting skills of course. but yes, judging from previous works, photographs are a likely medium in this.

Reminds me of Jabberwocky, the poem always went with that weird picture.
