The story I see behind this image is that in the future, forests have become so rare, they are a place of mystery, fear, and danger. This young adventurer wants to prove he is brave enough to join the Corps, so he ventures into the forest. As he ventures deeper and deeper into the forest, the more he is intoxicated by the scents and the wonder. He turns - and comes face-to-face with one of the guardians of the forest. The adventurer draws out his sword in panic, but he's too drunk with the perfumes of the forest . . . the guardian reaches out to him . . . and gives him a bear hug.
Sorry - couldn't resist giving my idea, I want to be a writer.
