This years Oscars have come and gone and it has been getting a lot of backlash and for good reason. During the intro for Best animated film, They basically stated that "Animation is for kids" And all I have to say to that is...youtu.be/hpdSr2duNj4

The vicious stereotype that animation is just for kids couldn't be more false! If that was actually true, Then explain films like Sausage party and Isle of dogs as well as cartoons like Halluva Boss, South park and nearly every show on Adult swim. That channel has ADULT right in it's name for Fuck's sake. And even cartoons that ARE made for kids like Ducktales and WordGirl can be legitimately enjoyed by people and all ages!

This better be the last time I have to vent about the animation industry getting disrespected because if it isn't, I may have to go back to twitter just to take a stand!
