I think this is a reasonable expansion!
The only thing that concerns me, that with the purchase of Baja, Sonora, and Chihuahua in 1846, would that mean a longer Civil War, since the South would then have access to the Pacific Ocean?

British Columbia gets its name from the Columbia river.....most of which is in Washington, fun fact.
They could have named it North Cascadia or something better in real life.
Why did Oregon and Washington switch places on here?
