Kaveh's like yeah man whatever you need, so they stick the horses in one of the barns and bed the guy down in the guest hall.
Night falls, everyone's asleep, and suddenly out of the dunes sneak one, then two, then three men, all dressed to the nines in weapons and armor.
Mercenaries.
The "traveler" comes out with his arms full of shit he's nicked out of the sleeping quarters, and the men start grabbing horses to run away with. They've snagged the slower, dumber ones (Nkiru, Patronus, etc), when Ria, a light sleeper by nature, wakes up.
Ria is NOT HAPPY with being woken and makes this VERY VERY CLEAR YOU ASSHOLE BACK THE FUCK UP. They muzzle her and start dragging her out too, but as soon as they step outside the barn they stop.
There, across the oasis, is a winged specter. The noise has awakened Nehkbet.

I'm not sure losing weight actually gets rid of the PCOS? But PCOS causes weight gain, so to counteract the weight gain you would have to...lose weight. But I'm not sure it gets rid of the PCOS.
