Description This is a color key for my comic project.  I am trying a color test on one of the penciled pages,  so I made this image up as a reference and to color pic from a collection of swatches.  I decided to go with the grey suits for the enemies because they looked the best against a colorful background, and when seen in large groups. I added some gold to signify the status of guards (just a hint for the captain, and then more for the royal guard).
For the hero I went with a dark suit.. all the better for sneaking.  But I might give her some more color accents to help her stand out, like maybe some pink highlights or something.

Given the similarity of the designs, you could say that Senya put her outfit together from scavenged Imperial armor and uniforms; old war surplus and items like that.

Very cool.  I like the lineup, and the colors are great.  I'm imagining background of oranges and yellows, with a hint of green.  I have no idea what that would be  . . . except maybe burning forests.

I'm trying out a sunset palette, with peach/pink clouds and a warm purple sky. The platform will be a cool blue/grey, so hopefully everything works. I should be posting the first page test tomorrow.
