Description
Being a big fan of cartography I wanted to make "universe map" for my Senya map project. This ended up taking a lot longer to make but it was a lot of fun. I added a brief write up of each faction and Royal house to explain a bit about their status and back story. At some point I would like to deign a few characters from the various areas to show their dress and appearance, but for now this might be interesting to Senya fans who want some more information. Side note, some of the names could change if I discover they are already used in some other sci-fi.Another note: now updated to include Emma's home world of Hanarra.

Ow, that sounds like a great little mini comic! Maybe one of those mechanic characters could make an appearance, only to stumble upon a royal pleasure room!
She might see something she should not be seeing? Maybe a mean spirited royal could call her over and include her in some embracing adventures... or just send her to the inquisitor.

Thanks! You know you've got a good universe when other possibilities for adventures pop up. Yes, she could be seeing something she shouldn't see. Probably like in Victorian England, the royals and the rich are also celebrities. Maybe she sees two particular royals from rival Houses partying together; skullduggery being planned? A mean royal could be intrigued by this cute tech that suddenly stepped through the looking glass--let's get you into something more comfortable-- or send for an inquisitor who will 'convince' her to forget what she's seen; maybe the Imperials have drugs or tech that wipe memories.
Hmmm, there is another possibility. The bewildered tech can't resist taking a quick look around. She peeks through foliage, marvels at the luxury, then quietly slips back through the hatch. A guard who thinks she saw something checks and sees footprints in the soil leading to and from the little service door. Those tracks weren't made by Imperial troop boots or royal footwear. Oh, oh...

Nice! Both great ideas, especially the rival house thing! Maybe a Romeo and Juliet style romance?
They would have no choice but to kidnap the tech, and give her a new job as royal attendant!

Thanks! I especially like that Romeo and Juliet style scenario. While satisfying her curiosity, the tech hears some heavy petting, peeks through the foliage and gets an eyeful! Yikes! She could either be caught on the spot or manage to sneak back into the service tubes only to become the quarry of a frantic hunt.
I like the royal attendant idea, too. She could be brought cuffed and gagged before the frustrated lovers. She's terrified, certain she'll either be chucked out an airlock or turned into fertilizer. But they're not totally evil, and offer her an alternative. Suddenly up in the ship, an officer notes on her crew roster that this tech as been "reassigned." She knows better than to ask why or by who.

Maybe I can convince BioWare to forget about Mass Effect for a while and make a Senya game!

A Senya game would be amazing either as a video game or a roleplaying game. If you ever decide to do a mini-comic based on this exchange, I'll eagerly wait to see what you come up with.

Thanks! I will make a note of it. A bunch of my drawings lately have come from comments and brain storm, which is one thing I love about the DA community!
I will definitely include the idea of "royal compartments" when I get to designing the battleships and carriers!

You're welcome! One last idea came to me at work today, then I'll clam up. The tech's about to quietly tip toe away after getting her eyeful of forbidden cuddling, but she suddenly hears a growl behind her. She turns. Oops! Arian's not the only royal with big kitties! Oh boy! Something new to play with! The poor tech runs screaming through paradise with a tiger on her tail.

Who is from the black space , the pits and the spire?

The pits is a labour camp for political dissidents... and the spire is a maximum security prison, owned by the empire.
The Black space is just a void with few stars and all kinds of gravitational distortions, so no one lives there.

Cool! I was thinking of having a design contest or a submissions page where people can post design ideas. I would like so see different artists ideas for what the Red Hand warriors might look like? Or the royals from the various houses, or the prison guards or religious order people! It is all too much for one person to deign. However, those things can get tricky though because then later people can say, hey you took my idea, now I own part of your project.

Well, I am probably not going to be selling any Senya material, so I don't have too much to worry about.
What I am thinking is, I will make a template of characters standing (a royal, a guard, a servant and a civilian), and then ask artist who are interested to do designs for some of the major systems and houses.
That way the universe will have a more eclectic feel to it. When one person designs everything it all starts to look the same. I will keep you posted when I get the template ready!

You know what, crazy enough, the region that is now named Tol-Bayren (which I know under a different name) I was considering making the head of manufacture where all the ships were built because it might have something to do with part 2 of the story I am writing.
Though NOW, with all of this juicy information at my fingertips, I can make it much more interesting!

I say split the Tol-Bayren system into specialized areas. One for ships, another for different technology projects (R&D), and then another for the droids! Since they are the manufacture family.

I purposely put them next to the bastion (the giant naval base) to show they where involved in the fleet production.
Hopefully it is not too much like the Hunger Games with the different districts.

Nah I don't think so. I envision that sector of space where each area has an assigned task to perform and they do that function, but overall they have a community building feel to them as a people. Like a colossal version of a cosplay group. XD
Absolutely love what they do, total tech heads, but with a beneath the surface animosity towards their neighbors because of that conflict they had with them. : 3
(gods I'd love to help work on the backstory, lore, and environment of this place. Its so fun!)
