My other final for this quarter was to create a physical pitch book and while originally I was going to do a "Art of" book for Spirit and the Mare, I changed it last minute to BOOM instead. Rather happy I did!So firstly, I made this little book entirely myself! We were taught several tips in class on bookbinding and I'm horribly addicted now. It's so easy and fun and just ahhh. I'm quite happy with the theme of this one! I found this nice paper that was reminiscent of fossilized flora and, well, it's relevant! But my favorite part is probably the stupid little tooth I found at Hobby Lobby :')
What's shown is NOT everything. I have a section in the front with the written pitch content, the rest of the references, and of course ALL 12 of the pages. It's a cute little 20 page booklet and one I'm super proud of.
Honestly the ONLY thing I wish I could have done different was to include my name on the cover. That was a bit of an after thought. But least it's on the back! I also would like to put something on the inside front but no idea what. Seems like a good place for a pocket to put a takeaway item in. Theoretically a sticker or something? I dunno. That's being really picky!
Prints were simply stuff from Staples but mmmm they look geeewwwd dawwwg. It's crazy seeing your stuff printed.

Very cool! Love the fern patterning on the outside cover. This looks 100% professional, too. Probably a lot of work, but looks like it's totally worth it to have something so tangible of your work.

That little tooth is a really nice detail on the cover! The way you used the paper on the cover looks super stylish as well.
And, it really is crazy seeing things you made printed out... this semester in college I also had to do some work for printing and when I saw the results I just felt this weird sense of pride. Like, "this is real and I can touch it."

Thanks so much! It's really quite easy once you try it a couple times. Honestly the most annoying/hard part is buying all the materials! Some of them can be a little pricey, and I think in total I spent roughly... $50~ this quarter on materials. And I still need to buy a couple things I was able to mooch off the professor and... I need to refresh some of my existing materials like glue
