EDIT 5/28/09: PFFFF dude lookit this: [link] FREAKIN' AWESOME >xD I love POE. And this forum was full of lulz. Made me happy. No offense to the creator of this character... but come on, that's hilarious xD I feel honored. No sarcasm intended. END EDITFor s contest. I do believe it ends the 20th (or somewhere around that time) so I decided to get it done a bit early.
I.. some how have a feeling I totally screwed up some parts of this because when Stetson deleted most of her gallery she... also deleted the reference of her fursona.. so I relied on the already posted entries to guide me on the big details.
I was originally going to go with a line art piece but the sketchy look made it have a pretty neat feel to it so I stuck with it. I have no idea what's the deal with me and random jump up in the air pictures [link] but they be neat.
Altogether this took 2 nights to do roughly 7 hours.

Whoa! That is just amazing! Go Filly! The jump in the air pictures do come out super spiffy! It makes my eyes bulge! These colors are sweet, I crave for mint patties and minty oreos now! Darn you!

I love the character design.. it's very interesting. And you shouldn't be afraid of critique.. I'm sure no one would say anything mean. It's not like you make awful artwork or anything.. your pieces are interesting, and creative, and well-done.
And the background has this intriguing mysterious-cartoonishy feel. XD I like it.

I can REALLY see the effort in here Filly! I especially like her eyes and the line art does add a different feel to it!
