Whoo boy! Despite this page being only 3 panels I spent so much time on this trying to make sure it didn't look like utter poop! I spent a whole day on and off just on the inking. And for once I'm actually happy with it! HUZZAH!
Also I finally designed that bathroom entrance yaaayOriginally Kailani was actually saying something, but as I started working on coloring it I ended up really liking the mood it left with her not saying anything at all. Reminded me about the later pages of Chapter 1 where she didn't say much either, which were some of my favorites.
Anyway, enjoy the... not much happeningness!

LOL I wonder... is Fed the type that will go nuts if everything is moved around? DoesΒ he obsess over his possessions (MINE NO TOUCHY)?Β He doesn't seem like it, but it would be hilarious if everything was shifted an inch or so, and then everyone would be bumping into tables, chairs, and so forth.
Also, does Kai have to do what he tells her to? I don't think he'd order her about, but what can she do? Is she just a Madame, or could she say,Β study and become aΒ nurse?

Aha I thiiink he's the kind who wouldn't say anything if stuff was moved but he'd move it back later whenever he was sure the person is done messing with it. I don't think he favors stuff out of place but he wouldn't have a fit over it xD
Oh nah, she doesn't have to do anything he says. Not that he would anyway no haha She could likely do whatever she wanted although being Royal and being rich she doesn't need to really take on a career of any sort. But if she wanted to she could!

It's great how you managed to portray the emptiness of the moment, the realisation of how out of place Kailani really is, how she has no idea what to do with herself now that she is by herself.
...though she does look like she took an interest in Feddys clothes there on the counter. Hmm, now I have a mental image of her prancing around the mansion in his shoulder guards...pffft

I honestly feel lonely now... I LOVE IT!!!!!! Can't believe you can easily make 3 simple panels feel so lonely. This comic gives me a HUGE smile when I read it (: Keep it up and I won't have to burry land mines in your yard even if you make a bad looking page, as long as it is able to make me feel the mood of it.

I think this is one of my favourite pages, and I think it's because Kailani's response to this whole situation was so perfectly captured without her having to open her mouth. I get the sense she's not entirely comfortable with where she is, and had she had a say in it, things would've gone a bit differently.
Anyways, I think she's one of those rare characters who says the most when she's not saying anything at all. Hope to have more voiceless scenes with her in the future because man. Although I'm sure she actually has a nice voice, but how about we gag her for a few pages and see what she does? Just a thought.
ahem. That said, I think the perspective in the last panel looks a little skewed, like the bottom of the rear wall should've been closer to the end of the bed. I don't know the oh-so-technical artist-ing term for it, or if there's an actual artisting-term for these kinds of things...I'm sure there is, but I'm too lazy to look it up. Anyways, otherwise a good job.

Aww I'm super glad to hear it! I definitely think if she were to have had more to say it would have ended a lot differently so I'm glad she knows when to be quiet xD Gotta work those readers emotions! Plus I just really like how one minute she can be talking up a storm from her nervousness and the next she's at a loss for words. It's fun to work with.

Poor Kailani, I like how this page kind of has a 'what now' feel to it which I think works really well with her new found circumstances. Her room feels comfortable, yet stark, almost like a hotel room, which I think is very appropriate to her newness to it.
