If anyone ever happened to wonder how I did my comic pages...
Yup. This is how.
Not really a tutorial, just a walk-through. But I suppose you could use some of these tips. Any questions are welcome.
Taken from this set:
Step 3 is probably the one that takes the longest. Also my least favorite. Liiiineart >:U
When I mention the one month thing, that's mostly mentioning how I tend to wait until the first month has already passed before really getting into working. This is because I'm busy writing and finalizing the script. The script probably is the most difficult part of making a comic, as it's the main substance and plot of the entire thing. I always like to make sure it is as perfect as I can make it before getting too into the actual drawing process, in case I have to change anything. Which... typically doesn't work out well in an OCT when you only have 2 months to complete something.
Remember, children, procrastination is bad!
Not sure if this would be considered apart of the ToH Art Attack Spamathon, buuuut I wanted to post it anyway. :D

Even thought I work fast, but you have the patience of a saint, girl!
Fully pencil works is hard to work with, it can be really messy. Expectly when you want something white to stay white.
Btw, what kinda paper you use? In size and kind?

Hurrah for patience!
And yeah, pencils can get really messy, especially if you accidentally smudge it too much. Then it's a headache to try to clean. D: Usually if I'm in a time crunch I give up and just fix it in photoshop. lol
For my comic pages I use regular computer/work paper. Sized 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) wide by 11 inches (28 cm) tall. ^^

To save time on my comics, I go straight from the light skeletons to the lineart, then I do the shading and 'coloring' with pen at the same time.
I dunno why I felt like I had to say that.
It's just interesting to see how different people go about drawing comics, I guess.

Typically I will not go through each step one at a time over the entire page (with the exception of this one so I could scan each step in through the progress). I always lightly sketch everything first (step 1), but usually I will go ahead and rough line, or final line one panel, leave off the next, line some more, shade one panel but not the rest, etc. until I finish. So I do still follow each step, just not over the whole page, just per panel. So on one page I could have panel 2 and 3 fully completed, panel 1 in step two, panel 4 in step three, and so on.
Indeed it is xD

If I worked to this caliber, that would represent about a year's worth of my time! =^^=

Holy jesus fishpaste 8O
(...lol wut?)
See, this is why I'd suck at doing art in a time crunch. I procrastinate waaay too much (and on everything, not even joking) I'd just get myself into a big stressful mess 8D

GAAAASP!
Haha, I may have always waited until near the final weeks to really get cranking with pages and stuff, but I always got it done in time. This final round was the first time I was actually in panic mode thinking I wasn't going to submit cause I had not anticipated the sheer amount of time it was gonna take. I can't stand to miss deadlines and all that, it drives my anxiety up the wall!

Is that why your comments are always so awesome? You think about what to write there for an hour, not to mention it's midnight?
