Description
Continued adventures in map making. This is done completely in GIMP,The goal is to have a rough map of the "known world," within a Pathfinder D&D campaign world. Here labeled are the three major known continents and a rough scale. Due to the new nature of this campaign setting I've called it "Eretz Terra," and I'll admit the world is fairly Earth Looking (Then again I could point out how the Forgotten realms world is Earth looking) but beside the point, this is the world of the campaign as it exists now.
Currently toying with font colors and styles to label the seas, mountain ranges and other important sites and making versions that show trade routes, empires, ect ect ect.

My problem with a lot of people's fantasy worlds are that they are very different from Earth but put little or no effort into making cultures realistically with the world they've drawn up. They don't really consider the environment and how it completely shapes a race. So I'm an advocate of earth-like fantasy worlds because it just seems more legitimate and makes it easier to put your different cultures in it.

That is more or less where I went with it,
It ended up being somewhat earth like because I am a big believer in geographic determinism.
