Super Smash Bros Brawl is on its way! So I've been doing concept sketches of characters that haven't been announced yet, but I'm hoping will make it in. He's third party, true, but Geno fought alongside Mario and co in Mario RPG and has been rarely seen since. He's a unique looking little guy, equal parts pinnochio and light cannon. I see Geno using beams that you have to charge, the rocket punch to propel himself upwards, the Geno Whirl, and the Geno Blast similar to Pikachu's thunder attack. For his BRAWL attack, it'd be nice to see the sun-firing Geno Cannon appear, and envelope the enemy in a massive sun.Related content

Ay, he'd certainly be fun.
Although the guys who hack Brawl put in a pretty impressive Geno hack! It's based on Toon Link's body shape, but otherwise it's really well done.
Heh. I fear I'll never be satisfied with a Smash Brothers game ever, the list of characters I want is as numerous as it is improbable...
Still, Geno would be nice to see. Although I like to think that each iteration a character is absent from means a nicer looking character when they finally appear... like real wood textures, his cloak looking like actual cloth, ungodly gorgeous particle effects for his magic...

Very good idea for his up B, and the best recovery yet, I was thinking he could primarily use the rocket punch as a grab, like links grappling hook, to grapple onto the side of the stage.Good art BTW!

Geno's from Super Mario RPG for the SNES, a game jointly made by Nintendo and Square (before Enix joined them). Geno was a star spirit who possessed the body of a wooden doll choc-full of astounding light-weapon technology.

Gotta say, I'm proud of you for spreading the Geno love. Word, Mr. Artist.
NOTES:
1. The name for Geno "Cannon" is "Geno Flash", and it doesn't shoot enemies out - it shoots a sun.
2. Your version of Geno Blast, while accurate, I fear would make Geno too much like Pikachu, and that's a no-no.
3. Suggestion for his ^B: Geno Boost, anyone?
Other than that, I love it. Especially Geno-Kirby. ^_^

Oh, I didn't intend for it to appear that it's shooting enemies out, I was trying to show an enemy caught in the middle of the sun. Geno Flash..that's right...
I figured his Up B, the downwards Rocket Punch, would be unique in that 1.) It would boost him up, 2.) It would attack upwards, and 3.) It would attack downwards as well!
But glad y'like it!
