The colors, the concept the way the guy is trying to protect the girl from the rain, the romance of it all, the way they are gazing into each other's eyes, the rain coats ~ EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR ART in this picture is worth an A++. YUCK, NO. He's with Watson, if anyone. If he ever went for a woman it'd be Irene, not the desperate, annoying girl who was injected into the plot just so 70% of the female population, equally desperate and annoying, could have someone to identify with. Women like her are common, self-pitying, self-deluding, and not worthy of sympathy. Most of all, they do NOT end up with the genius asexual that they clearly only obsess over because he treats them as indifferently as their own self-esteem warrants. She doesn't have real feelings for him-- she's just pinned all her self-worth on his validation because he's clearly not interested. I've met a thousand women like her, and even though they might relate to a stock caricature like Molly, men like Sherlock require something more extraordinary than they're deluded, vacant bovinity.

Stating a strongly worded opinion is not disrespecting other people's opinions, and I have no reason respect people like you, who call platitudes and disengaged sophistry an "opinion" when it only very thinly doubles as one. You know people always say that Molly and Sherlock would never get together. But I don't know...
I think through all the idleness and awkwardness she experiences with him, I think Sherlock truly cares for Molly. Maybe not in a romantic sense but just the fact that she's not gonna turn her back on him and he appreciates that. People are like "John and Sherlock will always be together but Sherlock and Molly?! Come on!!" Well yes I do like the John and Sherlock pairing myself but the connection that Molly and Sherlock share- I think it's lovely. In a way it's like a close friendship with someone who maintains distance to anyone- and that's all anyone can ask for with Sherlock I guess...

That is a lovely thought to share! I obviously ship Sherlock x Molly (though to be honest, I just ship Molly x Happiness), but regardless of the romantic side of things, I believe that they share a friendship and with Sherlock to fall into the small pool of people that he trusts is very very important. Additionally, Molly seems to be the only one that likes him and yet doesn't get anything out of the relationship. But she's there. And that speaks to her selflessness and that's what makes her so appealing to me. Sherlock could learn some selflessness, I think.
