I used mostly watercolors, watercolor pencils, some inkwash (what little I had left) and acrylic white & black.I'm not sure if I put this in the right category.. but it seems more macabre & horror than fantasy....
PLEASE fullview... it really isn't worth looking at unless you do!

oh wow... it's the details here that make it for me, too. the details on the paper, the fact that the fairy in the front is huddled in mid-air. the tiny bloody handprint inside the jar down on the left there. the pages sticking out of the book.

yeah, seems to me that you have such a particular style... I've gone through your gallery and yep, definetly, this style does suit me
I particularly liked that one because of the theme... very imaginative and yet creepy, i can already imagine the kind of story built around it - inspiring.

ohhh, this is so cool...there are a lot of really great little details all over the place...the tattered paper edges, the details in the book pages, the little pins, the crosshatching, and that blood stain on the book....that's the best part

When Kevin first told me about this idea I pictured it looking more grungey than this, but I thought if it went too grungey looking it would take away from the fairy & dragon. Splatters are fun
