Thanks, hun! The Mako?! Ugh.... The only good thing about that vehicle is that for some unexplainable reason, it would never overturn no matter what. I gotta say though that driving it has allowed me to improve my video game driving skills considerably.

I doubt I was the only who swooned when Kaidan takes you in his arms.

Oh no you weren't! That was such a great and rewarding moment, albeit way too short. And Kaidan was just so sweet and adorable back then, wasn't he? But I really liked the fact that in spite of that, he still had enough balls to questions some of Shepard's decisions and/or give her his honest opinion.

Hee! I totally know how you feel! The only difference is that, in my case, the same realization came to me as I was playing Assassin's Creed II and I developed a big crush on Ezio Auditore.

Thank you, sweetie! Yes, I agree that the story in ME seemed to progress at better pace than in the other two games. What I thought ruined the pacing in ME2 and ME3 is that we were constantly told that Shepard needed to bring the main mission to completion ASAP and yet we had all those side missions and "errands" to complete in order to get more military assets and what not... Hopefully, Bioware will correct that in the next instalments.

It's interesting that you and =PistachioInfernal have both mentioned the locker scene because that's the one I was going to do originally but the background I found for it would have made the posing a bit awkward.

Thanks, hun! I've actually used a couple of walkthroughs to help me with the tougher parts but I think it had more to do with my lacking skills at shooting than it did with strategy. Precision shooting with a controller can be very hard sometimes, especially if your target is moving a lot.  Or maybe I should simply try another class. I think the second time I picked a Sentinel but I probably should have picked an Adept, my favorite one.

I knowww, stupid scope. Thank god for the 'shaky hand' mods in ME3.
Yeah, go for another class, you can always change it to another class in ME2, right?

Walkthroughs can be a lot of fun! There never have the same primal quality of playing the game itself, but if there's good editing, they can be as good as a movie

You're so lucky... I did love ME1 and yes, there are more options in terms of roleplay, which sets it apart from the other two games. But I really have no patience for the combat, especially against the Geth and when you have to fight while driving that damn Mako!  LOL!

What's so bad about the combat in ME1?  Maybe it's because I've only just recently played it for the first time, but it seems fine to me.  I like it way better than the 2nd, where they actually give you ammo that can run out.  Not being able to do more about the gun overheating sucks, too.  In ME1 I had my FemShep set up to a point where it was impossible for her to overheat her pistols no matter how long I kept them firing.  In 2 I have to keep changing out those stupid clips.  Haven't had the chance to play 3 yet.  Missed getting it cheap on Origin so I need to wait for another sale or wait for my roommate to buy it.
