I completely agree with you about the fact that Tom Hardy isn't at all suited to play Sam Fisher. He simply doesn't have the right face and he doesn't look manly enough. I was extremely disappointed when I heard that he would be playing Sam.

And yes, Mark Kileen would be perfect because he looks exactly like Sam did in Splinter Cell Blacklist. But there's only one problem: Mark Kileen is not a superstar. I've noticed that Ubisoft is always hiring a big Hollywood name to take on the role of the lead character in their movies. In Prince of Persia, they took Jake Gyllenhaal even though I always thought he look nothing at all like a Persian prince. And for the upcoming Assassin's Creed movie, they chose Micheal Fassbender. Although in this case it doesn't really matter because the story will be featuring some brand new characters. But you know what I'm getting at here. Ubisoft wants to make sure that their movies are being carried on the shoulders of some big Hollywood hitters so that they have better chances of making as much money as possible.

I think it's not really necessary to be very famous. In Transporter new movie they chose Ed Skrein and he most famous role was Daario Naharis (from GOT). And just he had appeared in 3 episodes.
But if the actor has to be famous well I would rather these actors before Tom Hardy;  Hugh Jackman, Eddie Cibrian, Stuart Townsend (he was very badass in XIII), Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Thomas Jane, Ray Stevenson(www.youtube.com/watch?v=D3UDru… ),Gerard Butler, Josh Holloway(with its look of the TV show "Intelligence") or even Kevin Costner . But Tom Hardy hell no!!!

P.S: I dont' have nothing personal against Tom Hardy. I just do not like him to play Sam Fisher.

I hear ya... He's just so sexy. What do you think about his new look and the new voice actor, though? I was watching a gameplay demo of SC Blacklist last night and this new Sam doesn't do it for me the way the one in Conviction did. He just doesn't look the same and he certainly doesn't sound the same. To me, Michael Ironside's voice was a big part of what made the character so sexy and appealing.

Hahaha omg yes. This guy can't replace ironside. I have mixed feelings. In all the trailers he hasn't said much. It won't be the same so ill be keeping my expectations to a minimum. BUT ill still play it. Gameplay is gunna be better then conviction for sure
