Description
This is the final version of my desert environment from the previous post. There have been some changes and there are 2 characters around as well, both of which have been designed by my teammates and in this painting I had to portray their relationship and the purpose of it, which is travelling together to some place that look like a some Gothic-styled ruins. The reason why I chose this idea and composition is mainly that in our made-up story the main character (the man) is trying to discover the secret of his deceased family and so he has to go through ruing of a fallen kingdom. In our game idea, he and his partner would go through various areas and environments unlocking them gradually and finding pieces of the puzzle, in my environments I wanted to make a more arid place in contrast with the regular fantasy jungle kind of thing. So there is no explicit kind of magic in here, only the view of Earth that shows that this is happening on the Moon as I said before, and this whole realm is magic and can be accesses by travelling to a parallel universe.

This is kinda all I had to say, initially there were some mushrooms around as well, but I took them out because they looked too "juicy" and I went or the dry plants feel. In the end I also added some kind of fog and dust between the layers to create some more atmosphere and distancing. In the next days I will begin showing another part of this project which will involve some sort of creature, so keep an eye on me
