Description
This is something I originally had planned later down the line on my own, but for my illustration class I wanted to get to developing this idea out now. And this idea, as you can see, is the idea of the ancient yaetuan world..
As far as most people are concerned, only the last four thousand years of yaetuan history are covered in any real detail. On my own, however, I've spent some time developing their ancient history and cultures, and in the coming weeks I hope to show you one of the kingdoms that were a part of the ancient globe.
.
More than 17 thousand years ago, on the west coast of Seceiri, the Utan Empire would begin to grow, originally forming as an offshoot colony from another kingdom on Corutte. Shortly after seceding from the falling kingdom, the peoples who sailed to the previously uninhabited continent quickly spread across the west. At the time of this painting, the Utan Empire would be close to reaching its peak, and Eleykus is one of its major cities.
.
In terms of comparisons this ancient kingdom would be closest to ancient Sumer or the Byzantine Empire, and for the time it lasted the people found fulfillment harvesting the fertile coast and worshipping long since dead gods.
