My book, The Teeming Universe: An Extraterrestrial Field Guide, is a speculative biology book that is meant to explore how alien life could develop on a myriad of exoplanets. My book explores the histories, characteristics and evolutionary paths life takes from a scientifically plausible perspective, exploring several creatures in depth on every planet/moon. This book is large for one of its kind, covering 11 different worlds far from Earth, in great detail as each world has its own lengthy and illustrated chapter.
Some examples of worlds that I cover in great detail include a cold desert planet with only bacteria, a habitable planet that formed with no moon, a tidally locked planet, and many more. If you are new or inexperienced to xenobiology or astronomy, my book comes with a handy and lengthy introduction, which lays the groundwork for the complex material I cover in my work. My over 300-page, full- paperback book doesn't have any set story or narrative, instead making way for a formal and nature guide-esque look into these worlds and the life on them.
