Within the last four-thousand years, the yaetuan species has experienced dramatic change in their history. Because of culmination in adverse climate change on the planet, the world was in danger of being rendered uninhabitable. Because of this, the yaetuan race sent millions to flee to other worlds, for the sake of preserving the species lest things went south.

This diagram, which readers can learn more about in my book, showcases the changes in the yaetuan diaspora within the last three thousand years, since the first colonists were placed on extrasolar colonies. While some were established only under 800 years ago, some were around for as long as 2,800 years or more.

During the phases of the yaetuan colonization programs in this time period, colonists and their families were placed on worlds far from home, worlds which nearly all of them would never leave. Because of this, coupled with the conditions of their new homeworlds, each colony has experienced its own levels of microevolution, with some changing far more than others.

While all of them are genetically the same species, their language, cultural identity, and lifestyles tell vastly different stories. Most of the yaetuan paintings I've shown thus far are part of the typical original genetic line, from the homeworld or its solar system, but in reality the race has many unique faces.
