Description
From the Star Wars Kinect gamehere is Ara Barotta, in her hand an holocron with some recordins Master Mavra Zane did
Im really into commissions, if you havent noticed, since I cant draw anyway
this time asked for 2 «original» characters and 3 existing ones
all these Black and white ink tones commission were done by
and he was sweet enough to add color to the lightsabers (when there is one), thats very appreciated!
she is a beautiful character, I dont think she appears or will appears anywhere else in the Star Wars saga, as many many characters anyway!
but I love Twi'leks and I've done a list of Twi'leks characters with or without names that appears in comic books or are mentioned in novel. I'll probably never be able to commission them all, but Im well on my way to have my fave ones done!!
the list excludes Aayla Secura and other that have already plenty of wonderful art done out there
Ara Barotta was a female Twi'lek Jedi Knight who served the Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic during the decade preceding the Clone Wars.
A Force-sensitive Twi'lek, Ara Barotta was trained in the ways of the Force by the Jedi Order. Studying at the Coruscant Jedi Temple as an Initiate, Barotta ascended to the rank of Padawan after the Trade Federation's invasion of Naboo and the reemergence of the Sith. Assigned to a Jedi Master to continue training, Barotta constructed a green-bladed lightsaber to wield throughout her career.[1]

Love the drawing - so beautiful... but I have to say my favorite part are the eyes- they came out so amazing especially in black and white!

Very impressive.
Just curious, in all the star wars literature I've read that featured Jedi holocrons, the were all cubic. Pyramid holocrons were consistent with the Sith.

Seems interesting that she's holding a pyramidal holocron, as those were traditionally used by the Sith rather than the Jedi (Jedi used cubical holocrons).

Ah!! ah!!! I know well I dont remember if I have sent wrong reference to the artist or if it was a conscious choice. but in any case, I like the pyramidal holocron better, just not to have everything the way its suppose to be you know! (I pay for these arts, so sometimes I ask for stuff that shouldnt be!)
