Description This drawing was inspired by the Edward Scissorhands "musical without words" that I saw twice recently. Its on tour from England, so if you have a chance to see it, SEE IT! It was so beautiful.

Its amazing how much you can express with just the face and body. This image was ingrained in me in the final dance they shared together. Kim goes to the castle to find Edward as the rest of the town forms a mob out for his blood. They basically dance out their emotions of the moment. She goes to him and he's frightened of hurting her. He can't hold her. Eventually, however, he gives in and it turns into this increadible dance with intensely intimate and stunning choreography meant to be done with Edward and his scissor hands.

This is just near the end. Oh man, I'd see it again if I could.

OH yeah. Look it up online. Its a "musical without words". They have exerpts of some of the dances. Ice Dance is so awesome. Its too bad they don't have the final scene, which is the one I remembered when I drew this one.

You should! And I dislike old-style ballet. If anything its a musical without words, just as it advertises.

Anyways, beautiful picture you got here. You've managed to make Kim as delicate-featured as I've imagined her, like a ballerina really...

Thanks so much! I was practically fresh out of the theatre after I drew this. The mood stays with you. It is so DEPRESSING, but so beautiful.

I still say they get together in the end. Who cares what old Kim and Tim Burton say. XD
