Additional fun fact: Domestic cats have slit pupils, large cats have round pupils. What about in-between cats like the lynx? Theyβre an intermediate - ovals!

I think it's just very alien to us and our brain automatically recognizes that.
I find it kind of cute. c: The strong horizontal pupil of a goat actually weirds me out more.
