Description I decided to go with black. XD  I've spent too much time on this over the past few days. I should really go do something productive...
I heavily referenced a picture of my dog for this one.  I used the grid method which I still haven't decided if I think it's cheating or not.  So if you overlay my image with the photo it will probably look like I traced it.  Unlike most of my usual reflections, this one was actually drawn separately from the proper angle which I wouldn't have been able to do without the reference image.

Amazing piece as always. As for the grid use it 100% isn't cheating despite what some critics may say. While I was in art class, as a portrait session we had to use a grid on our pieces picture so we could accurately free hand draw the image closest to the reference. It still teaches you to draw yourself without tracing and trains your eyes for visual lines to detect in anatomy in the future use. The water is fabulously done and it really looks like they are reflected in it.
