New Write UpI completely remade this one. XD The only thing I kept was the wheat-type grass in the foreground. I'm not sure if I like the background more or not, but I'm much happier with the rabbit. Hope you guys like this version better as well!

I realised while painting this that I no longer like my art.
I've made no improvements in years, and there's no... life to it. So I'll be trying to make some improvements in the near future, and that being said, I don't like this one. Original: sta.sh/01yxacongkwo

Where is this lack of life you speak of, This piece immediately caught my eye when I checked my watch list. It's Absolutely stunning to look at, the background is so gorgeous the details you've added to the grass and plants are amazing. Please don't be so hard on yourself, everyone improves at their own pace and I'm everyone who followed you for a long time can see how far you've progressed.

I like this background much more, especially the grass on the ground. Rabbit's anatomy is much more clear and its colours are nicer.
The only things i would keep from the old painting would be those delicate details on its fur, where it is lit up by the sun, and its face (ears, eyes, closed muzzle), it looks more meek and shy there.
I'm happy You decided to remake it and are happier wit it now!

We got a tractor with a bucket and hoe, so I've been going a bit crazy with it. XD I've started to build a retaining wall beside the house. That's mostly what I've been doing.
