I've been working on this over the past few days as well, and it's been very very helpful to me to get this drawn - Nezaal's armor form has been sorely needing tweaking for a long time, and I feel like I've improved quite a bit to be able to draw this! Plus it just feels good in general to be drawing Glyph things again. 'v 'b

This is the "kavaca", or armor form, of Nezaal when wielded by Makhe. In armor form, he is stronger than steel, but still light and flexible enough to allow Makhe free movement in battle. The aegial's armor is able to protect a human from almost all forms of damage and weapons, and can only be seriously damaged by other aegials. The only weak points are the three crystal cores, particularly the "vital core" or ka-rdaya, which is the crystal on the back of the neck that serves as the aegial's heart. The only way to kill an aegial is by shattering this core, so the wielder must be careful to protect it and the other vulnerable areas.

When the aegial and wielder create their bond, the aegial configures their forms to suit the wielder's own personal attributes. For this reason, the armor fits Makhe perfectly and comfortably, and includes small adjustments that fit her tastes, like the open toes. <3
