Description
The Type 46 Command Battlestar or the Chi II–class is 50 yarhens older than the Type 53 Battlestar, TOS Galactica–type. Between 1400m and 1600m, the Type 46 is the ultimate Command Battlestar for her era. However, by the time of the Peace Conference, the Type 46 had started to show her ages and those remaining in service had yet to receive internal modernized and refitted. Original designed by Virgon in 6780 shortly before the tide of the Cylon War turned against the Twelve Colonies. The Type 46 carried 160 Vipers.

The Battlestar Tellus is an example of a Type 46 Command Battlestar.
