Description

The Type 1 Destroyer or Alpha–class Destroyer is the defense equivalent of the Type 1 Light Cruiser and Type 1 Heavy Cruiser. It is faster than either the Type 1 HCR or Type 1 LCR. It is armed with 24 Galactica-style guns and point–defense guns. At 672m the Type 1 Destroyer is a swift craft. Like all Third–Rate Warships it doesn’t carried any Vipers just Raptor and Shuttle. Like all Destroyer, it designed for defense for to stick close to it Battlestar or Warstar normal referred to as Mothership.

The Destroyer Balan is an example of a Type 1 Destroyer.
