Soooooo I learned how to draw Toothless! XD seriously, for the past few years I've been avoiding it because compared to other dragons I drawn, he's weird. For one, he has a longer, wider, and flatter head, his snout is very short, and his limbs are more human like, but also end is kinda cartoonish stubs with claws on his feet. This made him a challenge that I really didnt know how to figure out, but, since the third movie is coming out, I thought I would give him a try. XD

Since I'm lazy and don't want to practice the saddle just yet, this picture takes place before Toothless is tamed. The background is supposed to be reminiscent of the lake area hiccup first found Toothless in. (I didn't have a reference, so I just....winged it :3 ) This is also why Toothless' expression is so.....mad. He just got his tail shot off.

If I had one criticism it would be the lighting, especially on toothless. I dont think I did an especially great job there, but I tried my hardest, even tried to make it look like he had scales but idk how to do those
