Why do I ask for reading pics' descriptions? Because I put a lot of effort in my characters' concepts and I want people to know (or even understand) them better. Old Reference: Alex (possibly final concept) + UPDATE
Genesis of Alex's character:
During the second grade of high school (or you'd call it senior high school) our English teacher held a project called "Express Yourself". Every student had to show what their passion was and how they would express it in this project. My main passions were gaming and drawing so I came up with writing a (fan) comic based on "Slender: The Arrival". This idea was simple, I just wanted to give some personality to the main protagonist of this game (her name was Lauren) but the teacher said that this concept lacked something. He wanted me to add some original work to let the audience know that I gave small 'piece of me' XD Eventually, I created two more characters of mine. One character was tall, skinny blonde guy whose name was Elliot. The other one was short, curvy and grumpy gal called Alex. Yes, she was named after me because at least it was what I could do. And this name even fit her X3

And since then I hadn't used Alex and Elliot like for 3 years. I reintroduced Alex when I was in FNAF fandom. Now she's just my main OC I usually use for roleplays.
BUT that doesn't mean that she has no backstory...
The Backstory
Alex was raised in good, loving family living in small, fictional Polish town Jastrzębino. However, school environment made her a total edgechild. She was pretty smart kid who spent hours in library reading science books. Dinosaurs were her main obsession. She didn't trust others in fear of being hurt and prefered working alone. That means that she never liked other kids. She knew that the world is bad, yet she had the tendency to believe that she was able to make it a better place. You could say that she had this small Messiah complex. Everyone thought that her goal was exaggerated but Alex was a stubborn kid and tried her best. But it only made her feel more depressed.
Once she helped a boy who was attacked by school bullies. His name was Elliot and he was half-American with clumsy Polish pronunciation. But close contact with Alex made him more fluent speaker. They always hung out in free time for many years and got even closer. Yup, they became a couple afterwards. When Alex finished high school they both moved to Maine (USA) where she could study. Despite their flaws (which described them as Mr. Lazy Harry Potter and Miss Grumpy Face), they loved each other. This first relationship was something special for her. She felt loved, appreciated, respected. But nothing lasts forever. After an accident and other circumstances that appeared after it (such as Elliot ending up in coma and Alex losing close contact with him due to his parents' will) she became cold and emotionless again. She went through major depression but thanks to therapies kind neighbours she could get out of it with smaller efford. But then everything changed when she met Selene (an OC of 1Schadenfreude1 , sorry for bothering but I always try to give credit XD) whom she started loving dearly. For now she's doing good and finally gave birth to her little baby boy Michael. :3
Current personality:
Alex is very sensitive and stubborn person. It usually leads to sudden anger outbursts on which she tries to work. In stressful situations and serious cases she attepts to think calmly so the stress doesn't take over (that doesn't mean that she's not scared). Despite her stubborn nature, she still can be pretty open-minded. Company of somebody she loves/likes or normal pleasures make her feel safe and relaxed so she reveals her positive and loving self. Memories of the past make her very nostalgic when she thinks about them. She seems to be an introvert but around friends she is pretty chill and out-going. Strangers still make her feel suspicious and distrustful. She's not that forgetful, she will always remember every harm done to her. Alex is also pretty paranoid when she feels threatened, even though in reality there's no danger. Her paranoia developed when she was a kid. Sometimes she can be pretty serious, even sarcastic but it happens when she's not in the mood or she just doesn't like you. For friends and beloved ones she would do literally everything that proves her devotion and loyality. Oh, she is a tomboy but she doesn't mind feeling a bit femine from time to time. XD
In the relationship...
She is very loving and devoted person. She would do everything for the person she loves even if it would lead to serious consequences. However, she tries her best not to disappoint her love interest (always fails, though... But Selly is patient). Depending on partner's personality she can be either a total pushover or dominant. (With Elliot she was pretty dominant, with Selly-she's kinda pushover XD)
Oh, she never cares about the gender as long as the person loves her back. Her preferences were caused by her desperate need of love.
Yes, she is bisexual-biromantic so she can have romantic/sexual relationship with both genders. Also, she is very tolerant when it comes to sticking only to romantic one (here with Selene), she actually doesn't mind it. Because she agrees with the opinion that love doesn't have to by only physical. Fun fact: She can get pretty passionate (because hormons, duh) but she has to be careful with that because the situations can get awkward. She tried some passion with Elliot but failed horribly X'DDD
Occupation:
Alex is English teacher in primary school. She takes care of...pretty lively students with various personalities. That actually made her feel close connection with this class. In addition, she's a hard-working person. She is responsible, very active and isn't afraid of expressing her opinion on literature and language (but she keeps these opinions away from the principal X'D).
Physical details:
- Body shape: Alex's body kept changing as she grew up. From primary to middle school she was a very fit girl. In high school she didn't have time for physical effort so she became more "soft and squishy" (that's how Elliot called her when he cheered her up). Yes, that means that she was chubbier. As an adult her body shape became more 'mature', she wasn't that chubby but still pretty curvy. During her major depression after a car crash she started eating much less (or she didn't want to eat at all) that made her lose weight what was pretty unhealthy. The therapist and medicines helped her bring her appetite back, however, sudden food intake caused weigh gain. It kinda doesn't bother her, at least she knows that she's healthy. Alex has strong arms and legs (thanks to more active lifestyle). She also has wide hips and.... "something to breathe with" if you know what I mean
- Look: Alex has long, dark brown hair which she pulls back to a ponytail. She has caucasian but suntanned complexion, blue eyes and strong nose. Alex gives an impression of always tired person. She doesn't sleep very well so this is a result. She wears anything that is comfortable BUT skirts and dresses are an exception. Her casual clothes are simple T-shirts, jeans and sweaters. For special occasions she wears suits (either with tie or bowtie).
- Scars: They are "souvenirs" from the accidents and fights. Due to her soft skin on her stomach, two big scars didn't heal very well. The upper one was recieved in the car crash, the lower over the navel- in fight at the horror attraction. She also has big scratches on her thigh and left shoulder (both recieved in the car crash). There's also not that visible scar on her right cheek (she managed to take care of it). Most of these scars are hidden under the clothes so some people don't know about them unless she tells them or shows by accident. The scars bring her bad memories, she doesn't like talking about them or even seeing them in the mirror.
Mental disorders:
She suffers from one called posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Memories from the car accident and other stressful events still cause her axienty, paranoia and hysteria attacks. Alex sometimes has flashbacks (or even hallucinates) everytime she is in contact with things connected to those events. She also suffers from nightmares, however, they don't happen as often as before. Still, she can't sleep very well, that's why she looks tired. Almost nobody knows about what happened because she never talks about it. She behaves like nothing happened but still she suppresses these negative emotions inside. She also suffers from inner struggles with herself when she's in distress and self-loathing. As a kid she had temporary Messiah complex and bigger paranoia.
Abilities:
Alex has good stamina and physical strength. She also knows some self-defense tricks that help her survive, however, she might not be that good at combat, anyway. She mostly relies on her fight strategy so she doesn't have to put a lot of physical effort into fight itself. She is kind of intelectual fighter (it's thanks to her intelligence).
Likes:
- pizza - especially, when she makes it herself
- children and babies -when she sees a child or a baby, her motherly instinct activates. (SHE FINALLY IS MUM!)
- spending time with friends/girlfriend- but she doesn't like big groups of people, they make her feel anxious
- sweet milk coffe (she hates dark one)
- red wine
- eating in general - she's always hungry
- some sport (used to play football a lot as a kid)
- drawing and doodling in free time
- her students - she almost treats them as a family (it also goes along with her love for children)
- playing games
- thrillers, action movies, horrors
Dislikes:
- the scars she keeps recieving (she finds them ugly)
- arrogance
- nightmares
- bad flashbacks
- talking about her past (but will if necessary)
- running X'D (if you know what contex I mean X'DDD)
- raw tomatoes
- stress
- some particular groups of people
Fears:
- needles
- failure
- losing the beloved ones, again.
- seeing the beloved ones in pain
- her unpredictable temper (believe me, it can change in a heartbeat)
- being all alone
- losing control
- herself in general
