Personal creation, but in a similar concept to Gfantis - a "Godzilla-esque" kaiju, as I label him. He's not Godzilla, but he embodies the character, you could say.

I've done my job then.

Megalon's not the big lug that he usually is in my depiction, he's got a bit more edge to him both mentally and physically, so he's a lot more dangerous.

hell yeah you have! hes your most iconic figure. now when i see HB godzillas the picture of the awesome artist who lives in Arkansas pops in my head.

Your depiction of him is very interesting and unique. like i said normally hes depicted as a towering unstopable, indestructable juggernaut but this design is cool. its like zilla sorta. thiner, sleeker more agile but able to pack a serious punch or two in a lean and mean package. i actually like your redesign. wonder how he would use his wings for combat.

hmmm so you mean like a cricket? that actually would make sense. hmmm also a thought just came to me, you know how he has those drills like things for arms? it must be a bitch for him to pick things up lol. also being an insectoid kaiju what does he eat? what he begings sucking on trees for sap or something? anyway your redesign i would call revolutionary because well never seen anything like it before. i bow to your skills lol.

Well, he more or less has insect-like features (though I could use the deforestation as even more leverage to him being an even greater threat). I was thinking about giving him two little "prongs" for a second pair of arms (so he could have six appendages and be even more insectoid in design) that would work as tazers. Godzilla could hold Megalon's drills up, and Megalon stings Godzilla with these prongs and shocks him.

Plus, I was thinking of giving him a twist, so to speak, where one of his arms gets severed and he starts lashing about with these whips, sorta like Legion from Gamera 2.

And college has been good. Been busy, but it's all good.

yeah i mean what can he possibly eat? hmmmmm prongs? hmmmm would you present that? sorta like T-rex's small arms sort of thing but work similar to tazer guns? hmmmmm in nature do water beetles have six legs or four? but your idea is preety creative and being that hes an electric based kaiju it fits.

Oh great severed kaiju appendages, thats definatly something you dont want to see coming down the street and attacking you lol. freaky but cool idea. though i have no idea who Legion is. im not really fluent in my Gamara kaijuverse knowledge.

Well, he IS a cyborg, so maybe he'd consume it through mechanical means (absorbing it through certain ports or terminals on his body).

Well, for Matt's G-Neo timeline, he's made by the same peoples that created Gigan, but for the movie he was in, he was just, by happenstance, a cyborg. No true explanation behind it (perhaps he was left behind by another race, leaving the Seatopians worshiping him as a god).

And there are definitely some great artists here; is one of 'em (I mentioned her in one of my previous journal entries).

As for a kaiju, I can't really say. I guess it depends on what mood I'm in. :\

oh come on now i mean in general. to me you seem like youd be Gamera. i dont know that piece you did before on him looked like he would be you. he just iminated Ray Fromme. i know its wierd lol but well he has the same personality as you. hes big and strong, hes tough and enduring and is always nice and does awesome things. what you think?
