Project Freelancer is a group of elite soldiers with power armor and AI from the popular webseries Red Vs Blue by RoosterTeeth productions. Each freelancer is named after a state and the one shown here was South- and Meta is one of the main villains in the show. Who I happen to be on Tumblr. Who I cant describe past that because SPOILARS.

It's a large fandom, but small in comparison to things like Naruto, Zelda, My Little Pony...
That was part of the reason why I decided to do a crossover ask blog instead of pure RvB. I figured I could draw from the massive MLP fanbase, while taking advantage of the strong community over on the Rooster Teeth site.
That, and ponies are faster to draw.

There's reason the freelancers wouldn't be unicorns! Unicorns are strong horses that can stab and or impale people.

In the My Little Pony universe, unicorns are the only ponies that can use magic. I imagine colour changing, bubble shields, invisibility to be magic-like effects. And I don't think freelancers would be above stabbing and/or impaling others, so I think you may have only proven my reasoning.
